"In the Shadows of Lowfalls

Lowfalls Landing can be found in the eastern edge of Calhoun County, SC about ten miles from the town of St. Mathews.  I like to refer to this area as the Santee Delta and it is just as wild and natural as any Amazonian delta.  The cypress trees go on for miles making for dizzying confusion in a boat if ill prepared for such navigation.  I'd highly recommend a trip to this strange place and would also recommend stopping at the small country store nearby.  It is a sight to behold, but just don't go after dark.  24x48inches on handcrafted wooden frame.
